________________________
Currently, we are working on August and September orders. Production will take a little bit longer on these products. We are not taking any more trigger shoe orders until mid December to give us a chance to catch up on the back orders we currently have in production. If you go ahead and send in your order, we will accept the order and payment, but be aware that we will not start production until mid December; be prepared for a delay. Please do not send in orders for trigger shoes that are not on the list or do not have a number associated with them. Right now, we are in the process of interviewing for trigger shoe fabrication personnel, this is a skilled position and it takes time to find the right people and train them appropriately.

This is
the Thompson Center Encore Trigger...and here is a couple of pictures of one
version of the shoe that fits on it....

These are good examples of the SKB Barrell Selector Trigger Shoe in BRONZE. Order number: 40Z#13SKB.
This
is your classic Savage 93, Mark I and II Model trigger. It has a Bronze Trigger
Shoe size 40Z#12SAV.
If you are interested in this shoe check your trigger curve. If you have
a Model 110, 112, 10, 12, ect, some of those models have very similar curves
such as the Savage 110S, 112 Varmit, 112 VR. These were made between the 1970's
and 1990's. Yours may be different but we also have sizes for those as well.
Depending on your contour you will need either a #16 or a #7 SAV. It never
hurts to check your width either. (Very close to 1/4" wide.)

WHAT ARE TRIGGER SHOES MADE OUT OF?
Our Trigger Shoes are made out of the highest quality aluminum, #1 Prime Ingots.
We NOW offer our Trigger Shoes in MANGANESE BRONZE. The Bronze Trigger Shoes reflect astonishing beauty and durability. Three times more dense than the aluminum, they have a mirror gold finish. The cost of our Bronze Trigger Shoe is a reasonable $30.00 to $34.00 plus shipping. These can be manufactured in either the Mirror finish or the Brushed Bronze finish.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE TO ORDER?
We have approximately 50 different Trigger Shoes available that fit a variety of guns. The best way to find out if we have what you are looking for is to go to the NEW UPDATED PRINTABLE VERSION on the top of this page and read through it. We are currently not making shoes for weapons not on our listing.
DO I HAVE TO ALTER MY TRIGGER?
No. Our Trigger Shoes attach with two small set screws. An allen wrench is included in your shipment so you can easily take the Trigger Shoes on and off at your convenience. You won't need a gunsmith to apply your Trigger Shoe. Often, you can widen the inner groove of the trigger shoe if the fit is too tight on the trigger. Shoes can easily be shortened with a grinding tool. Altered shoes can not be returned.
WHAT IF I CAN'T FIND MY GUN ON THE LIST?
That means that we may not manufacture a specific Trigger Shoe for your gun. That doesn't mean we don't have one that will fit. There are thousands of different guns on the market today, most of which have different size triggers. At this point you have a few options you might want to consider:
Back to Top of page
- First, measure your trigger width. That is, the face of the trigger, where your fingers goes across.
You can do this using dial calipers or a small ruler. This must be an exact measurement.
You may use fraction inches or converted decimal form is fine, milimeters works too. Example: 3/16" or 0.188", or 4.762 mm![]()
![]()
- Second, measure the curve of your trigger.
This is surprisingly easy. Not completely accurate, but it gives us something to work with.
Simply take the following coins: dime, nickel, penny, quarter, half dollar(JFK), and dollar (Susan B Anthony, or Sacagawea). Put the curve of the coin to the curve of the face of your trigger. Let us know which coin fits the best.![]()
By the way, you can also use anything that is curved and matches your trigger's contour. When you find something that works just measure the diameter(width across the center of the object). This is really even more accurate than coins. Some customers have used washers, pill bottles, rubber gaskets, wooden dowels, and bottle caps. Look around your house or your shop, you'll find something that will work. Just get the diameter of whatever you are using.
![]()
If you are having a difficult time getting measurements, you can take the back of a business card, place it behind your trigger, and using a sharp pencil (or mechanical pencil) mark the edges onto the card. Then it is simple to measure inside the marks, this gives you a pretty good idea about how wide your trigger is. Hey, it's better than guessing. You can also use the same trick to get the curve of your trigger too, just make sure the surface you are using is rigid. Then just match up something curved to the curve that you've traced. Don't forget to measure the diameter of whatever you used to get the curve, (unless you used a common US coin, then we don't need any diameters for that).
- We are currently not accepting triggers for custom jobs. DO NOT SEND IN YOUR TRIGGER.
- The last option would be to modify one of our Trigger Shoes to fit your trigger. We will do this for you for an added fee or you can do it yourself easily with a grinder, round file, or Dremel tool. The only thing you can not modify on our Trigger Shoes is the curve. You can widen and deepen the inner width or make the shoe shorter without any problems.
- Any shoes that have been modified will not be accepted for a refund.
